This unique program offers mutually beneficial relationships and learning for both participants and student volunteers. It promotes diversity and advocacy, and honors individuality and independence. The TGIF community has patient, open-minded, and friendly volunteers who are committed to making a connection with community members with disabilities, and fostering a healthy, engaging, and fun atmosphere at each event. Applications for Thank Golly It’s Friday (TGIF) are accepted on a first come, first serve basis. All volunteers and participants are asked to make a one-year commitment to participate in bi-monthly programs held throughout the academic year (breaks and summer excluded).
